2012: Happy New Year everyone! We are excited to kick this one off with a bang!
We were just notified that BST is now in the winner's circle in Omaha Magazine's Best of Omaha contest! We want to personally thank everyone that voted for us. It's wonderful to know our work and dedication is appreciated.
March 9-11 BST will be attending the Kansas City Convention: Real Deal Tattoo Convention at Uptown Theatre. We had a great time last year, won some stellar awards and look forward to rocking it again. Not far from Omaha so hope we see some familiar faces!
JUNE 2011: Black Squirrel would like to welcome our newest member of the team: Justin McIntyre. We encourage you to stop in and check out his awesome portfolio. His web pics will be coming soon. Also prepare yourself for a busy summer! We will have our 1 year anniversary party coming in late August and also FarnamFest is baaaack August 27th! Bigger and better than before. We have made some improvements to the fest--check the web for more details. Lastly BEST OF OMAHA voting starts July 1st. We hope you will remember us when voting for your favorite Omaha businesses!
APRIL 2011: Black Squirrel will be attending the Immersed in Ink Tattoo Convention @ Harrahs Casino. We hope you will all come out in your Black Squirrel gear and represent! There will be many tattoo contests on Sat & Sun to enter!
MARCH 2011: We will be having a new guest artist, Justin McIntyre, here for a short visit on the 6th and 7th. A week later will be attending the Real Deal Kansas City Tattoo Convention the 11th-13th. We will not be open on those days so we apologize for any inconvenience. Eliaz McMillan with be back in town guest spotting Mar. 26th to April 2nd! Book your appointments now!

JANUARY 2011: We have many new events that we are sponsoring this coming year! We are excited to announce the 1st annual Sailor Jerry Pinup Pageant coming January 15th at the Waiting Room Lounge. Ladies: Sign up to be a lovely pageant contestant here at the shop!
Saturday Jan. 29th, 6:30pm (Opening Night): Matt Dinovo will be one of the featured artists in the Science Fair Art Show in the Urban Storage Building on 13th & Leavenworth. He will have a chance meet, greet, and showcase some paintings he’s been diligently working on. There will be more than 90 artists, performers & musicians attending. Feel free to pop in for a visual feast and support the arts!

Because we believe in giving back to the community we were an official Toys for Tots drop off location--toys were picked up Dec.15th so thanks to all who contributed!

OCTOBER 2010: It's been a great start so far! We opened in mid-August and have been overwhelmed by all the support! A special thanks to all our clients, friends, and family!!!
In September we enjoyed a visit from Eliaz McMillan, an incredible artist from Colorado Springs. He's also a graduate of Savannah College of Art & Design, therefore his natural talent is even more amplified. Hope some of you had a chance to take a good look at the realism in his portfolio. We hope to have him back in the Spring- cross your fingers!
